We are proud of our excellent reputation in providing delicious food and great service to the residents of Pittsburgh. Our East Carson Street location features an elegantly decorated bar and spacious first floor dining room while the second floor features intimate and private dining and event space with a full bar, along with a billiard room making it the perfect venue for hosting your next special event. Our best kept secret is our second floor patio, full of lush plants and fresh air, where any party would be a success.

If you are looking to have a gathering at home, office or another location of your choice, our off-premise catering is ideal for you. We offer a full-service display to make your event just as unique as if you visited us at The Library Pittsburgh.

All of our catering dished are recipes are made with the same care and pride as all the restaurant dishes. Our goal is to meet your highest expectations and earn your approval in making you event a successful one. Food and drinks for your event can be prepared and presented several ways:

Appetizer Display: Select any number of our appetizers and small plates to create a beautiful spread for your guests to choose from.

Lunch/Dinner Buffet: A delicious spread with your choice of dishes which allows your guests to serve themselves.

Selective Sit-Down: Create a reduced menu with up to five entrees for your guests to choose from. The Library will present this menu to your guests on the date of your event.

BAR OPTIONS

Open Bar: All drinks will be paid for by host.

Cash Bar: Guests pay for their own drinks.

Drink Tickets: The Library will provide guests with a number of drink tickets at the start of event. These drinks will be paid for by host. After tickets are gone, guests are responsible for their own drinks.

Limit Bar: Host sets open bar limit amount (i.e. $800). When bill reaches this amount, bar will be converted to cash bar.
